Superintendent (ICI Projects) - #RC-2011-02
Responsibilities
- Manage all activities related to the construction of large-scale projects ($15-25M);
- Correctly interpret plans and specifications and ensure the schedule is respected;
- Apply and enforce Pomerleau's workplace health and safety policies;
- Coordinate construction activities in conjunction with the Project Manager, Logistics Department and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial and institutional construction;
- Skilled people manager and decision maker;
- Leadership and ability to work as part of a team;
- Proactive with good negotiating skills;
- Very good knowledge of the different construction disciplines and plan-reading ability;
- Flexibility to work anywhere within the region (Ontario);
- A diploma in carpentry or in architecture will be an asset.
Location
- Ontario (site to be determined).
