Pomerleau was awarded a construction management contract for the enlargement of the Société de l'assurance d'automobile du Québec's headquarters in Quebec City. Approximately 25,000 m2 will be added to the existing building, which translates into five storeys of office space and a four-level underground parking facility. Back to back with the existing building, the new installations will have several access points. The building's proximity to Louise Basin required nearly 400 piles on an enlarged base to reinforce the foundation.
A steel structure covered in a curtain wall, the new offices will be built respecting LEED® criteria and will seek Silver certification.
