This 15-floor 25,500-m² brick and concrete block building offers 232 units in a choice of 14 different models, varying from 48 m² to 109 m², and a 5,400 m²-heated underground parking facility with 104 spaces.
This project involved the construction of a six-storey, 18 500-m2 apartment building featuring 190 apartments and an 1100-m2 basement parking facility and 1800 m2 of services, also in the basement.
At the beginning of the construction work, the plans and specifications were not complete. Thus, Pomerleau participated in the design, in addition to making suggestions throughout the construction process. The experience that Pomerleau brought to the project translated into savings for the client.
The Jazz Levis project consisted of the construction of 180 units over 20,040 m² on five storeys and a basement.
The main challenges of this project were:
- Restricted site access
- Electrical lines in proximity to the site
- Limited work area
- Neighborhood citizens opposed to the project
- Tight schedule
This project consisted of the construction of six storeys in brick and concrete over 20 000 m². A total of 206 units are available in 23 different models, varying from 39 m² to 106 m². Residents have access to a 4000-m², heated underground parking facility with 110 spaces.
Geared towards the active retiree/pre-retiree on the move, Jazz Quebec offers a myriad of recreational and social opportunities as well as all the amenities of a first-class complex.
Pomerleau's ability to develop and follow a workable schedule contributed to the success of the project and to Kevlar's satisfaction.
