This mandate consisted of the demolition of an existing asphalted area and the construction and commissioning of a 12-storey building to house the School of Management, Centre on Governance, School of Political Studies and  Department of Economics.

Phase I:

  • 16,000 m² of space
  • 7 stories and the 2-level underground parking garage

Phase II:

  • 6, 500 m² additional space
  • 5 stories

The building's circular form and its site posed some interesting challenges for the construction and logistics teams.

In October 2006, the University decided to proceed with the fit-up of the 8th through 12th floors and increased Pomerleau's original scope of work accordingly.
