On November 21, 2015, the Ordre des architectes du Québec honoured the Bibliothèque du Boisé with its Excellence Award. This project was built in Montreal's borough of Saint-Laurent by Pomerleau and designed by the Cardinal Hardy, Labonté Marcil and Éric Pelletier consortium of architects.
As in every other year, the competition received many applications. It was after two days of intense discussion that the evaluating committee chose this project for its exceptional architectural value.
The Excellence in Architecture Awards exist since 1978 and highlight the best architectural achievements in Québec and elsewhere in the world by Québec-born architects.
