Pomerleau is rehabilitating this double structure extending the road of the same name over an important artery, the Rideau Canal and River, Colonel By Drive, two pedestrian pathways and an access road to a park.
The north structure (267 m) is the first to undergo restoration. The second section (276 m), which is carrying the westbound traffic in the interim, will be rehabilitated this year. This strategic location demands that the work be performed neatly and safely. As a result, Pomerleau has undertaken all necessary steps to ensure that residents and tourists who enjoy the recreational facilities below the bridge are not bothered by noise or dust.
